Always Hand Paint Studio was built around a belief that hand-made work still matters. In a world of AI generated art and printed finishes, human design and painting by hand brings texture, character, and authenticity that can’t be replicated.

Our main studio is based in Sydney NSW and primarily services Sydney and surrounding areas. We also have a team based in London covering the UK and Europe. Every project is custom, so pricing depends on size, detail, surface, and location. Murals are generally quoted on a per square meter basis, meaning the bigger it gets, the more it costs.
Most mural projects start from $1,000+ and hand painted signwriting starts at $250+.
A clear quote is provided once the brief and site details are confirmed. (our quotes often come in cheaper than vinyl! especially on large scale) -
This depends on scale and complexity. Smaller pieces may take a day, while larger murals can take several days or weeks. Timelines are discussed clearly before work begins so there are no surprises. If you have a tight deadline, we can always get it done sooner with extra hands on board. Let us know if you have specific requirements or deadlines and they will always be met.

Yes. A concept is developed based on your brief and space before painting begins. This ensures the artwork aligns with your vision and works properly within the environment. This also allows us to work out the kinks before we put paint up on the wall, ensuring everyone is happy with no surprises.

Our murals and signage are designed to be long-lasting. Temporary chalk artwork is intentionally non-permanent and will naturally fade or wash away over time. The expected lifespan of each piece is discussed during planning. For interior permanent murals we provide a 10-year guarantee, for exterior murals we offer an additional option for anti-graffiti coating which comes with a 20-year manufacturer guarantee.

Murals and signage can be painted on almost any surface, including brick, concrete, plaster, timber, metal and painted walls. We can even paint on plastic surfaces with the right prep! A site visit helps assess surface condition and preparation needs.

Yes. Temporary chalk art is available for events, promotions, menus, and short-term installations. It’s a high-impact, low-commitment option that doesn’t permanently alter surfaces.
We use Chalk Spray Paint to create high impact temporary installations, the chalk spray is more durable than regular chalk and will generally last 2-4 weeks without heavy rainfall or foot traffic. You can also remove it immediately with a pressure washer if required. Get in touch for more info.

We generally try to work business hours if possible. For commercial spaces that need to remain operational, after-hours or off-peak work can often be arranged. We always aim to finish the project within the projected timeframe, so if needs-be we will work out of hours to accommodate.
